Hardfought CS Invitational Tournament news – S-audiks and FDA face off this evening at 7pm CST tonight, and TsK will battle it out with HFC tonight as well, two hours after the first match. Both games are to decide who advances up the Loser’s Bracket and who will be eliminated. Arctek will be the admin for both matches this evening… you might be able to bug him to give everyone a play-by-play on the #hardfought channel while he watches :-) Good luck to both teams, and have fun!! I wish I could be around to watch.
OK… a few days ago, I had banned someone for using a derogatory racist slur on one of the public ports, and after that had happened, a nice lil debate about why I didn’t warn that person first before banning started. I was under the impression that certain things are generally known to be wrong, no matter where you go, but for the sake of argument I suppose it could be said that it may not be entirely fair to prosecute someone without them having knowledge (or at the very least a place to receive that knowledge) of what the rules are exactly. Soooo… take another look to the left there, third link from the top. Yup… it’s an ‘Info/Rules’ link. If anyone has any doubts about what the rules are while playing on the Hardfought gaming servers and what’s expected of you while playing, there ya go. I encourage everyone to take just a couple minutes to read it and become familiar with it, just so there’s no more misunderstanding :-) Also, I included some info about the hardware and connection to the ‘net the gaming and web servers have and also a brief history about how Hardfought as it is now came into being. When I get back later this week I think I’ll add an admin code of conduct, so you as a player will know what to expect from the current crop of admins that help everyone on a daily basis, and also what would be expected of you should you desire to become an admin for Hardfought. Ooh ooh!! :-P Before I go, I promised 3dL I’d post a few pics from the last CPL event so they would have a group photo to look at. I only had a couple turn out ok, so here they are… click on each thumbnail to get the full picture…

In the center picture (and I hope I got this right, gah!) from left to right is Camyen, HomingPigeon, Miklen (no that isn’t their little sister :-P), FreightTrain and Cebu. I took a few more pics but they didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked. Anyways, there ya go.
