Hello there! Welcome to the Hardfought gaming website. Right now the main focus is Quake III Arena but hardfought.org will be about different games that I enjoy and play and will host public servers for.
As you may or may not have noticed, the site is *still* under construction. There’s still quite a bit of work I have yet to do to make this site as informative and user-friendly as possible. If you’d like to contact me with any comments or suggestions about the website or the game server, please feel free to do so at k2_1971@swbell.net.

Sooo… what servers does hardfought.org host for the quake3 community? Here’s the breakdown…

– 216.60.188.113:27960 – Hardfought CTF
– 216.60.188.113:27961 – Hardfought Classic CTF
– 216.60.188.113:27962 – Hardfought Rocket Arena III
– 216.60.188.113:27963 – Hardfought DM Rail-Only (q3comp 1.24b)
– 216.60.188.113:27980 – Hardfought CTF Match (q3comp 1.24b)
– 216.60.188.113:27981 – Hardfought Classic CTF Match
– 216.60.188.113:27982 – Hardfought Rocket Arena III Match

All ports are available 24/7. The match ports can be reserved for your clan match/scrim/practice… just follow the link on the left and choose the server you need from the drop down menu. You’ll also want to grab Q3Plug to take full advantage of the reservation systems functionality. Also… the CTF Match port uses q3comp 1.24b. The port is touted as CTF but feel free to use it for Team DM, 1vs1, instagib… whatever.

The Hardfought game server is located in Dallas, TX, hosted on a T3 pipe which has points of presence with Digex, Sprint, and also peers locally with Southwestern Bell’s network. The server itself is a homebuilt dual P3-500 w/384MB RAM running windows 2000 advanced server. There are plans in the near future to upgrade the server to a dual P3-700e system.

I hope you enjoy the site and the game server… be sure to tell all your friends about ’em :-) See ya online!
